What is EBRU (Marbling)? The magic water preparation process.

Ebru is a technique of drawing on magic water with special paints, creating a drawing on the water surface in a couple of moments, it can be transferred to paper, fabric, wood and any other rough surface. Everyone will succeed!

The process begins with the magic water preparation:

  • In each set you will find measuring sachets with powder, they are already packed with a thickenerof 6 grams - for the preparation of 1.5 liters of liquid solution.
  • Take a bottle or container with a tight-fitting lid, fill it with 1.5 liters of warm 45-55 ° C water and leave an air space of 2-3 cm up to the lid.
  • Gently pour the powder from the sachet into the water and closing the container, immediately start shaking the solution continuously for 7-10 minutes (make sure that the powder is stirred in the bottle, does not remain a lump). After shaking, let it brew for 30 minutes, then pour the solution into the tray and start drawing.
  • The ready thickener could be stored in closed bottle at room temperature for 5-7 days from the moment of preparing. It could be used once, or reused until completely dirty. With one liquid solution you can create from 5 to 10 paintings.
